Like a flower

Like a flower
My yesterdays have been charecterised by
Darkness, failure, loneliness and sadness
They’ve made me feel deserted and unwanted
Like a weltering flower that is surrounded
By weeds in a garden that has turned to a bush
A flower that hasn’t had a drop of water in days
A flower with little oxygen.
Because I’ve lost my Gardner.

All the beauty and good I had is gone
Like a flower that has lost
It’s bright and colorful leafs.

The only thing that keeps me going
Are faith, hope& knowledge that my mother loved me
Like a flower hanging on to the soil with one root
Hoping that the rain will come soon.

I couldn’t stand
I couldn’t talk
I couldn’t smile
I was  falling, but yet again my mother
Came and rescued me, restored my joy,
Took away the darkness
Brought peace into my life, you came and
Took away the loneliness I felt, you
Restored my beauty.

As I was like a wiltering flower
You Came and recultivated the soil,
Took away the weeds and
Putted more flowers by my side,
Provided me with water and sunlight
Loved me like a butterfly loves
A bright flower.
