WHAT IF THE JEWS HAD ACCEPTED JESUS??? (A Sermon in Verse)
What if the Jews has accepted Christ
And Jesus as being God's Son?
What would have happened to God's age old plan
To offer Salvation through Him?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If they had accepted Jesus
No Death on the Cross would occur,
There would not be the "shedding of Blood"
No Lamb of God as our Cure!

If that Sacrifice was not made
No remission of sins would there be,
Nor Purchase price of the Church of God
Giving life to His Family!

Thus there would be no GOOD NEWS
No Gospel of God's Saving Grace,
If Jesus, the Jews had accepted
Not putting Him to disgrace!

Tho' sinful was their rejection
A brought out on Penticost,
The need for it was so Crucial
If Jesus was to pay sin's cost.

Yes, God knew what He was doing
Not being taken by surprise,
By the Jews, Jesus was rejected
His sore death was realized!

For God had long foretold
Of the Suffering and Death of His Son,
In the "Fullness of Time," He sent Him
So that the deed would be done,

So what was done out of envy
As hatred in their sinful hearts burned,
God made into an awesome Victory
Their counsels He overturned!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the raising up of this Jesus
As the Living Christ and Lord,
He offered the Jews Salvation
The Gospel by them was heard!

A Gospel now for all Nations
"For whosoever will...,"
He is our means of Salvation
Though hated, rejected and killed!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unknown to the Jews at that time
God's Will, by their sin, they did do,
Thus through God's Providential Power
Salvation He now offers You!
