The Perfect Person…
He came into my life,
Like a feather on a breeze,
His love for me insurmountable,
It brought me to my knees.
I caved in and I gave in to love,
A love so good and strong,
And now all I want in my life is him,
For it's only him that I long!
He doesn't see the ‘flaws',
For to him, I have none…
All he sees in me is…
His love, his perfect one!
He told me how he portrays me…
He sees not the imperfect person…
And by not seeing the imperfect me…!
It's only the ‘perfect' me he will see!
The chair is not an issue,
Nor the bad health that I bear,
And believe you me, it's a lot,
But he doesn't even care…
Care about the ‘flaws' that is,
To him I'm perfect and normal too,
His love for me is unconditional,
And love is what shines on through!
When I asked how he can love me,
With all the problems that I bear,
He wasn't impressed, no not at all,
All he cares about is its unfair!
Unfair that I have these issues,
And cruel to give me so much,
It hurts him so, so see me in pain,
He is my rock and my crutch.
I can be in pain and hurt like hell,
And he doesn't cry or moan,
More he helps me make it better,
And cares for me when he comes home!
So many bad things have happened to me,
But still he came into my life,
Things that would scare the toughest away,
And nothing but pain and strife!
But he stays by my side and always will,
He will never leave my side,
This man whom I love so totally,
He is my life, my pride!
When God brought us together,
He really knew what he was about,
For he brought about an unbreakable rock,
Of that there is no doubt!
