*Rumor has it that the Tooth Fairy is a poet...a little bird told me she's much more likely to comply with requests if you court her with poetry~it's her soft spot!*
For my Collin...who swallowed his last tooth with a mouthful of rice at the Chinese Haylumoon restaurant...and put this one~only God and the Tooth Fairy knows where!
Tooth fairy, tooth fairy
Miss keeper of teeth
One tiny pearly request
of your highness, I beseech.
My little boy twisted
and tugged and yanked,
then lost the small specimen
so empty remains his bank.
He asks for your golden touch,
silver or mucho green.
So, though his pillow is empty,
please don't be Queen Mean.
Although we have no proof of tooth,
to neglect this eager child-
would be completely uncouth.
