Do you kids ever listen to your father?
Or choose to ignore his wisdom rather?
For the law is good advise never to forsake,
By abandoning the law could be a mistake;
For I was the son of my earthly father,
Beloved in the sight of my tender mother;
He taught me to allow my heart to retain,
The words that the commandments contain;
Gather wisdom and understanding as I say,
Always remember to take time and pray;
Forsake not your mother showing her love,
And she will always treasure you thereof;
Exalt her and give honor as you embrace,
She will reward you and give you grace;
By heeding the years on your life be many,
The blessings to you in return to be plenty;
For God has your destiny already on a path,
So if you do stray He'll display His wrath;
Don't let it in one ear and out the other,
Unless you desire the dark side rather.
