One Too Many Empty Nights...2002
One too many empty nights.
Protect my spirit from the coyote.
The darkness uncloaks my heart.
Feel my touch and get to know me.
When alas, I bid thee all farewell,
The caretaker of my need,
He shall remain.
Let no tears be shed for the loss of I.
Alas, I am sheltered from the pain.
My writings, my words become more absurd.
The dreams once dreamed have taken flight.
For I, the decision has made;
Through one too many empty nights...
