For You Adrian!
For A Very Special Surgon In England!
When I came to you the other week,
I didn't quite know what to do?
I was scared of the unknown,
For I didn't have a clue!
For 4 long months I've had this worry,
About would it happen again!
And all it caused was heartache,
Would it be bad news and more pain?
But there you were, so cool,
As you breezed into the room,
I knew I liked you right away,
The relief almost made me swoon!
You put me as ease when you came in,
And we both had a laugh,
This Smashing Doc called Adrian
And this mad Poet called Cath!
So here I am once again,
Going to visit you today,
And I know you'll work your magic,
And make everything ok!
Faith in you, yesiree,
I certainly do have that!
Cos at the end of the day, I have to say,
If you can't, then I'll knock you flat!
So here it is, a special,
Especially just for you,
To let you know, you are the star!
And to thank you for all you do!
People take for granted,
Al the things in life,
And expect…just like that,
To be rid of all their strife!
But that's not so, and I have to say,
I appreciate all you great people do!
So here it is, a ‘thank you!'
Most especially for you!
Joking all aside,
I think you're really great!
And for the record, I must admit,
You make a smashing mate!
