Words and Verse
The other Lone Horseman
The Summit of the hill is haloed
By the lunar sphere behind.
And in its sillouhette of silver
Show a man and steed defined.
Behind them lie the roads and forests,
Pathways which they have survived.
Before them lies the fog enshrouded
Dark penumbra unarrived.
"What now awaits me" > asks the rider
"In the somber depth below?"
He sighs and turns his steed around, not
Brave enough to want to know.
By the lunar sphere behind.
And in its sillouhette of silver
Show a man and steed defined.
Behind them lie the roads and forests,
Pathways which they have survived.
Before them lies the fog enshrouded
Dark penumbra unarrived.
"What now awaits me" > asks the rider
"In the somber depth below?"
He sighs and turns his steed around, not
Brave enough to want to know.
