My Sanity and Insanity

Amongst the Towers

I breathe in eternity,
All time and space,
I open my eyes,
I close my face.

My birthstone morphs into,
My dead tombstone,
I eat my words,
I'm klepto-prone.

Narcolepsy is my only friend,
As I chew my own flesh,
My skin is old,
But my wounds are fresh.

I walk amongst the towers,
Skyscrapers of world power,
I fall and break,
In my saving hour.

My DNA strands of chromosomes,
Prove unique throughout,
The others and their taste buds,
Start to scream and shout.

Calm my ridolyn-filled brain,
With the smoke of anxiety,
Then feel me slip,
From my hands, I slip free.
