i drink the water of the ocean,
i taste the bitter saltiness,
but i go back for more, anyway,
cause it quenches my ever-thirsty body.
i soak in the light of the silent sun,
i take in it's bright warming rays,
i love the warmth it provides,
without the need for talking.
i sink in the field of grassy green,
it's beauty swallows me whole,
i can't help but fall into a deep sleep,
in it's most peaceful embrace.
i shrink below the cloud-kissing trees,
i feel smaller than ever,
but i love this minute feeling,
beneath this cover of sequoia.
i grow as one with the effervescent moon,
my surroundings surreal, in it's midnight light,
i feel a peace like none other,
beside my new, immortal friend.
i find myself in this beautiful place,
in which i live, of which i love,
God's playground, called nature,
my only wonder of the world.
