My entire perspective and meaning of life
changed over a year ago when I was diagnosed
with Hodgkins Lymphoma Disease.
In order to survive,
I had to commence treatments immediately.
I knew then that this will be one of
the biggest decisions I had to make in my life.
I decided to accept any procedures necessary
to beat the cancer and not let it beat me.
I chose to live!
With the help of many doctors and their staff, and
counseling sessions provided during my treatments,
I was able to overcome my fear of the worst.
After going on Medical Disability Leave,
the many calls, cards, and e-mails I received
lifted my spirit and helped me to stay stronger.
The many expressions of caring, love, get well wishes,
and keeping me in your prayers, has made a tremendous
difference in my recovery from each procedure.
I am still fighting the battle and am not cancer-free,
but my faith grows stronger that some day I will be....
One day at a time!
The outcome of the Basket Raffle Benefit
held in my honor during June 2003 h
as been tremendously overwhelming.
Not only were the baskets gorgeous
and cleverly prepared, but the time
and effort put in by all concerned
will always remain truly a heartfelt inspiration.
I wish to extend my deepest appreciation
and gratitude to each and every one
for participating in something so grand
and for your kind thoughtfulness that
I will never forget for as long as I live.
I look forward to being able to shout out,
I am a Cancer Survivor, for I am Cancer Free.
Thank you to one and all for being there for me,
for I shall keep on Keeping the Faith
I wish you all the riches life can offer,
and I Thank You,
Straight From My Heart!
