Give me the eyes of a child,Lord
that I may know who you truly are
keep me from stumbling so that I

May my seeds be sown in childlike trust
who puts all his hope and faith above
showing a dying world what it means to
have a heart of pure love.
Let this hope spring visions of glamor
and my heart never ever be ashamed
though earthly palaces glow with splendor
it can't compare with my inwardly flame.
Lord use me like a child, prepare
me for what it will ultimately cost
losing everything to gain it all
sharing my childlike faith with the lost.
