Poems From A Broken Angel
For The Love Of It (Challenge Poem for a poem site)
People ask, “Why do you write?”
“For the love of it,” I say.
It's therapeutic, it's a release.
It's beauty, it's sharing.
“But what's so great?” they ask.
Well, in my writing I get to love.
I get to show love I otherwise
Wouldn't be able to express.
“But it can't be fun,” they say.
Nonsense, I go many places through
my writing, get away from bad places….
All through my writing.
I express my feelings, escape bad memories,
Release tension, relieve depression, many things.
Why do I write?....
