It seems I am trying my hardest,
to get to where I need to be.
But, my hardest doesn't cut it anymore.
It seems the harder I try,
the easier I slip by.
I can't slip anymore.
So on my knees I pray,
for help along my way.
A thought enters my mind.
Try a little bit harder,
go a little bit more.
Do what is asked
and then go a little more.
Just try harder.
When my lifes trials,
get a little to rough.
The burdens I am carrying,
seem a little to tough.
When what is asked of me,
seems to much to do,
I try a little bit harder,
work my way through.
