Pain; Before SurgeryDedicated to my ;Doctor who listened to me The night turns into day, The pain in my body won't go away! All pain relievers they denied me, Because of upcoming surgery. I've had pain for so many years, Now due to severity; here come the tears. So up out of my bed I would creep, In order not to disturb my husbands' sleep. There is a movie titled; T H E...G R E E N...M I L E A big man takes on others' pain awhile. Oh...how I wish this could be, For I feel I have no compassion given me. Perhaps if one could feel... The throbbing, burning, aches, and electrical surge, Oh yes...this is what it would take for them to believe my desperate words! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
