Mom,I wish I could have had a chance to say good-bye,
I still can't believe you're gone,no matter how I try.
You were just taking a nap one Sunday afternoon,
The angels came and took you...it was just too soon.
I didn't get to hold you ,you were all alone,
I would have been there Mom,if only I had known.
I wish I could get back the years I let slip away,
The years I wish I had today.
I never showed you love this true,
Somehow though... I think you knew.
So I wanted to wish you a Happy Mothers Day,
I know I'll be with you again someday.
