 Penniluck's legacy

The Last One.

My little girl has
flown the nest
Just Dad and me alone.
She leaves me with
a heaviness
Her childhood simply gone.

Her dimpled cheeks
Are just the same
As when a baby new
Yet she`s going
To change her name
I can`t believe
that`s true.

I wish her love
I wish her health
I wish her happiness
I wish for her both fame
and wealth
Of everything
the best.

May love be hers
forever more
May she not know tears
God grant her only joy
As she walks down
the years.

I will miss my
little girl
I can`t help
being human
But I know she`ll
be the same
Except she`ll be
A woman.
