 God's Love Through Poetry

The Storm's Peace


Though the shadows darken
it approaches me to no alarm
because of God's mighty love
I have rest within the storm.

Peace that surpasses all
of man's fragile understanding
how the waves can be calmed
though the storm's demanding.

By faith and obedience
to the center of God's will
and through the darkest hours
His presence I will always feel.

So when you see shadows come
don't feel the fear of dismay
He will give the peace you need
for all He ask is the faith to pray.
