A Hidden Door

A door lies hidden behind these eyes
The key you hold, its no surprise
For you can free the soul within
Come back and light these fires again

A door lies hidden within this heart
Your love the key to make a start
Fragile its hinges, tender from time
It has a perfection of the purest kind

A door lies hidden deep in dreams
Whats behind it, you too can see
Visions of memories long since past
Hopes of a future, a love that lasts

A door lies hidden, closed in time
You hold the key that can open mine
Still behind each door I see your face
A vision not even closed doors can erase
