A Stairway To Heaven
A spiraling staircase climbs to the sky
I sit here at the bottom, looking up high
Knowing I'm closer with each step I take
Love, the reward for the effort I make
Breathing so softly as I pull myself up
Longing my thirst, may I drink from your cup
Wondering now if I will find my way home
Arms surround me, unlike any I've known
Gently pulling me closer, as I go on my way
This spiraling staircase from heaven was laid
Dances of Angels, they lure me to press on
The whispers of others who have already gone
Still I keep going, trying with all my might
I want only to be with my Angel tonight
To feel your love, my ultimate bliss
Wrapped in the arms of my Angel...a feeling I miss
