Daydream

I lie my head down now to sleep
A picture of you right beside me
My dreams take me now to a special place
Though I'm still awake looking at your face
I've lost myself once more in those beautiful eyes
I've touched your cheek a thousand times
I've kissed your lips and heard your sighs
I've loved your laughter and quieted your cries
A lovestruck heart caught in a daydream
One I've been dreaming forever it seems
