God's PresenceA great wave rises from the deep onto land, Washing away the scratches out of the sand; Dissolved forever in the great sea of peace, My cares and worries and fears will cease; The blessed blackness of the quiet night, Blankets the madness of day from my sight; Such a hectic pace of going through the day, Travel in traffic and city life fading away; Looking up to see God's glory in the sky, Blotting out the weary day that gone awry; I see only the greatness what God has done, Think that He even sacrificed His only Son; As a burst of sunshine brings a joyful glow, Flowing blessings onto me that He bestow; God fills the gloomy corners of my head, With a bright and joyful radiance instead; A joyous fountain showers His love on me, Causing the melancholy mood within to flee; For God has turned this old world around, Changed my frown to turn upside down.
