Drifting

The moon kisses the deepest ocean
Its dance upon it, a tender motion
How does the ocean flow without knowing?
Is there a reason for it to keep going?

Mystic moon what keeps you from staying?
Is it the waves that call you from playing?
I wonder if the stars tell of love thats mine
Gentle blue will you prevent their shine?

I look up to the heavens in the shrouded sky
Will you blanket my heartfelt sighs?
Just only one star for my loving wish
I send it to you, my love I miss

I sit here now upon the warmest sands
Watching constellations waving their hands
They echo a story in the lowest of sound
Deepest blue within your song they drown?

Softly now pillowy words are singing
Here by the blue my mind stays drifting
With fragile thoughts I am still believing
I see him there, no I must be dreaming
