I sit here and I wonder now....
How did this love come about?
You have given oh so much to me....
A gift of love and a heart that's free

You've held me during my darkest fears
You've wiped away these pain-filled tears
You've drawn me in so carefully
You loved me so unselfishly
I have never felt like this before....
Please tell me how I can love you more...

I want to show you each sunny day
I want to take your worries away
I want a memory for you to treasure
Know that my heart is yours forever

So here I hold your gifts to me
I cradle them so carefully
I think of you and my heart does soar
