Gallant Soldiers
Are we the gallant soldiers
willing to drive another nail
for every sin gone unclaimed
the cleasning of his blood fails.
Leaving a hole for His cross
whipping stripes upon His back bare
pushing thorns against His brow
to where the flesh once again tares.
God is tired of picking up nails
to where His son is repeatly slain
because of tattered wills there is
no blood left to cover the stains.
We need to remember
out of the grave He came
His blood a one time sacrifice
for us He took the blame.
