 HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

The Edge

Here I am dangling on the edge again
Hanging on tightly forseeing the end
What if I fall, would you be there to catch me?
Or would my screams be taken on the breeze

Fingers are grasping to anything they can
Wondering now how my descent began
Looking underneath me at the bottom below
I can't give up now, I just can not let go!

Far from this earth, I lose my grip
Where's that hand up now as I slip?
Clenched fists get you nowhere......
As you're on the edge
I let go and fall free now.....
It was the ending I did dread
