The Flowing Pen Returns

I left you there beside me
Your precious words silenced and unspoken
It was almost like I had set you free
Before your spirit too was broken

But Flowing Pen you return to me now
Lets speak again of prose and rhyme
Tender words from the floodgates flow
Softly etched in the pages of time

I dare not stop to take a breath
For you whisper in a tongue so low
You dance across pages that held emptiness
Like you posess a treasure you need to show

So speak to me now my gentle friend
Tell me what....through your eyes.....I see
And together once more we will grace the world
Telling tales of life in all of its beauty
