My Inspiration

As my thoughts seem to run away from me
A picture of you is all I can see
You say, Dear love, would you write for me?
For in your words my love will be

These loving poems written so sweet
Are the life's blood for which my heart beats
These precious words written with care
They speak so soft of a love that's rare

So, yes dear one I will write for you
I hope you'll see by the time I'm through
That you, one man, are my inspiration
I give this tribute to you, through heart to hands......
