Almighty Lord God is our guard and guide,
Who we place our trust in and to abide;
Giving us trusting mind and faithful heart,
Knowing that from us He'll never part;
He knows the woes that torment us,
Renders comfort that He will bless;
The path is stretched out in His design,
Displaying to me of His love divine;
God knows my needs and well endowed,
Removing from my mind the anxiety cloud;
He renews my strength as I relax and rest,
For He helps me prepare for my next quest;
He saves us from concerns and dark fear,
Showing me things are not as they appear;
I put my faith and trust into His hands,
Not fearing to face the future as it stands;
Peace and savvy is our strength and joy,
Our weapon is God's love that we deploy;
Our faithfulness in return as we praise,
Discovering His plan on us that will amaze.
