My Life and Times

In my life I have had good times and bad,
Times that I have been happy and also sad;
There have been times that I have strayed,
And even times that I have felt betrayed;
A few times I felt a need to cheat and lie,
Sometimes I have felt like wanting to die;
I have had times feeling lost and confused,
And resulted in my heart getting bruised;
Sometimes I've had a lot of anger and hate,
Or times with road rage when running late;
I remember of times when full of despair,
In times of trouble giving me a good scare;
Sometimes I never got to sleep at night,
Because of something I did just for spite;
There has been sometimes too much pride,
Eclipses my humbleness that's deep inside;
But I always remember our God and repent,
Remembering the savior that he had sent;
So I ask our Father to forgive as I pray,
And to take those committed sins away.
