You are to me an Angel from the heavens
Your majestic voice soothing my soul
Mesmerized by the depths of your eyes
Foolish wantings I can no longer control
Lost in my fall from grace, I reach for you
Your arms possess my sweet sheltered haven
My heart's silent call begging for release
Trembling fingers reach from a soul shaken
Desire's thirst begs me to drink from your lips
Restless cries echo in my wandering mind
Your breath but a whisper upon closed eyes
A beauty to light darkened hearts so unkind
On bended knees now I come to you
Hands reaching to ease this distance
Held now in ecstasy of love's tender grasp
My heart set free from life's resistance
A feeling of peace comforts me this night
Nightmares of a tormented heart gone away
Wrapped in lucidity upon a lover's flight
Holding love's wings til the dawn of a new day
