Picture Book Of Memories
Picture Book of Memories
She turned the pages slowly,cherishing
each memory within,
Then she started looking through it
all over again.
Pictures that told the story of her past,
Where did the years go,time had went so fast.
Her husbands' face smiled up at her as she
turned the page once more,
This was the only way...to see the face she
had so adored.
It was five years ago today, that he had passed away,
She was so afraid his image would fade a
little day by day.
This picture book stored memories dear to her heart,
As soon as she closed the book...reality
would start.
She had never known such agony and sorrow,
When was the last time she'd looked forward
to tomorrow?
Then she could hear her husbands' voice, whispering in her ear,
Do not mourn my death, celebrate my life...I will see you in heaven
my dear.
