Seeing sin's grip God asked Jesus to
become a man in this .wicked life
loving us enough to concider entering
a world of nothing but confusion and strife

Laying down the robes of His holiness
into this dark world He willingly came
with the intent to bare a rugged cross
nail prints in exchange for our wicked shame.

Sheering the fibers of His being
He was like a sheep to be slaughtered
in giving of His life, giving us a chance
to become His sons and daughters.

For God gave his son as a gift
and into our hands he was placed
with enough grip for an eternity
of His undying grace.
