WILL YOU FORGIVE ME AGAIN
Are you there my God, or am I all alone
I'm empty and broken as I crawl to your throne.
The hurt that I feel, I cannot describe, Just a dull hollow void,
continually gnawing at me inside.
Sorrow and suffering have replaced my best friend,
The nights are so lonely, Oh God when will this end
Exhausted from crying, I have no tears left to shed,
The thoughts of facing tomorrow, I undoubtedly dread.
I've no one to blame for this agony that I am in,
I flirted with the lust of this world,til I fell into sin.
If only I could go back and erase all my mistakes,
I would in a moment Lord, oh how my heart aches.
Then all of a sudden in the midst of my pain,
A memory from my past, a time that I called on your name.
Could it be as simple, as it was back then
Will you come, if I call, will you forgive me again.
