"I realize the person who did this probably doesn't read poetry
but I had to get it off my chest."
As I sit here waiting for my beloved dog to take his
last breath,
I wonder what he could have done for someone to poison
him to death?
He never barked unless there was a really good reason to,
The vet sent him home because there was nothing else he could do.
He said he's not in pain,to keep him comfortable until the end,
All we can do is love him...let him know he's our best friend.
So hes laying here on the floor,looking at us with trust and love,
We may not know who you are,but God was watching you from above.
Bear was a member of our family for over eleven years,
His death will bring such sadness...and many tears.,
I just don't understand what you hoped to gain,
By poisoning our pet and causing so much pain.
