~*~Starlight's Calling~*~The night calls to her when she thinks she's sleeping... She cries in the night when she thinks no-one hears... She chokes on the screams of her ever-present silent fears, Only to revel in those long and awaited tears... That seem to drop as though they were placed from the sky, That seem to echo unspoken wonder in the nigh'... Where only the stealthy wanderers like the keepers of our sleep... Seem to weep...For her sorrows... Along side her as they sweep, The pavement of our... Tomorrows. ~*~ G.M.Key copyright 2003~*~ Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
