Sweet Summer's Breeze

The sun shined through a
sweet summer's breeze
as I glanced out my window
and seen the swaying of the trees.

They danced in colorful array
to the beat of a glorious sound
the flowers soaked in the warmth
as little buds sprouted above the ground.

I stood and watched in awe
the beauty and splendor of God's day
and the smallest detail was out
there for my open display.

I thanked God for giving me the
chance to watch such a wonderous thing
giving me a sweet inner peace
as I heard the sounds of nature sing.
