"In Memory of Bear"
1993-2003

How could you?cont.


I wrote a poem to the person who poisoned our
dog the other day,

Our beloved Bear, who has since passed away.

The vet did blood tests,gave him shots,and sent
him home to die,

Said Bear needed us...we needed him,now all I can
do is cry.

He struggle so hard for the past two days and nights,

I stayed up with him until he took his last breath by
mornings light.

Because of you we had to watch him struggle for each breath,

Because of you we have to try to accept his untimely death.

My sons dug a hole out back to bury our beloved pet,

We covered and buried him in my prettiest coverlet.

So to you ,the person responsible_I want you to know,

I prayed that God saves you...for you have no soul.
