Smile
It's so easy, so simple you know
it takes a second
before you know it you can put a smile on their face
all you have to do is smile first
it's a blessing God gave us
but we never use it enough
caught myself frowning and complaining the other day
stopped and remembered life is truly great
it is up to me and what I make it
a smile lights that face when darkness tries to loom
it's the brightest glow when all seems doomed
just smile when the day might turn hectic
hey maybe you will make someone's day
you never know the lasting effect you can have on people
as they travel through your path along their way
it' the universal symbol that everyone knows
so go ahead get ready for your close up
put that smile on your face
you never know who's watching.
