You were my sisters' baby girl,
GOD took her away...
Your mother... when you were only five,
Did he know how much you would miss her,
and need her in your life?!
Like yesterday I remember so clear,
You weighed 5lbs.5ounces with brown eyes
and brown hair.
While asleep in your bed,you were so tiny...
You looked like an egg lying there.
You were her first born and my first niece,
I'd been ten years not seeing you at least.
You're a grown woman now,many years we've
been apart.
Until the other day we got a brand new start.
Through the grief I was dealing with,
I was unable to fight to bring you into my home.
The authorities took you;
They ended up adopting you out allowing
no contact of family of your own.
We didn't meet again until you were twenty.
I loved you dearly from the day you were born,
After your loss you had so much bitterness;
that both of our hearts were torn.
Now you are thirty and we vow to keep in touch.
For we are blood family and that matters so much.
I love you and I promise this until the very end.
