Poetic Verses
Deliver Us
'O curse the want deep in each woman's heart,
from leaving, need for cleaving unto one
Beyond loving, betrothal as the start,
joined one forever in benediction
'O curse the fear so deep in each man's soul
that separates commitment from a bond
To want only loving to become whole
with distance placed for memory so fond
Envy the have, as the have not with shame,
she that hath no sacred commitment blest
He who hath bond envy, those without same,
those who have eluded such a oneness
What can't be had in the heart so jealous
'o from such human need deliver us
