The Peace Within

As another day ends and I sit to meditate,
I find confidence to work and not hesitate;
I felt the enthusiasm and strength to cope,
I know God fills me with a trust and hope;
With the trust and hope also comes peace,
That causes the anxiety level to decrease;
Even at the center of a disastrous storm,
Peace surrounds my life as to transform;
I feel peace deep within my foundation,
Developing my life into a transformation;
As I turn my attention to Jesus my savior,
I feel how He has changed my behavior;
The tension and anxiety slipping away,
My awareness of peace is here to stay;
God's peace is mine through eternity,
To guard me against Satan's iniquity;
I will allow nothing to rob me God's gift,
In my heart and mind that gives me a lift;
Neither alter the peaceful calm of my soul,
God's peace within my heart is in control.
