PERFECT PEACE
As I open my eye's I find,
Darkness sweeps my soul,
A sinking feeling buried deep,
I wonder "will I loose control.
I panic, clutched by fear,
the day has not even begun.
My thoughts have captured my time,
they torture, until they have won.
Frantic, I search through
my thoughts only to find.
concluding of coarse,
my worst enemy is a distorted mind.
So I take every thought,
and make it captive to Him.
The Lord Jesus Christ,
who has died for my sin.
"Thou will keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee;
because he trust in thee.." Isaiah 26:3
