Daily Prayer
The daily bread of life
you give us each day
walking with us there
you teach us how to pray.
Supplying our needs abundantly
with love you gracefully fill
all you ask in return is
our faith to humbly kneel.
To lift our voice in
thanksgiving and praise
to show our faith that you can
get us through difficult days.
A relationship so precious that
we become intimate friends to share
in this time which you've called
daily prayer.
