Looking across at my younger reflection.

sleeves clutched

knuckles white

rage

sadness

scars, trying to hide
inside and out.

exsquisite mind, face and spirit
lost in guilt
that has no reason nor direction.

running from a horrendous past
full of violation
and/or rejection.

still allowing them control..

wearing a mask
living each day
within a big blackend hole.

but, with much introspect
and meditation
we will find God given hope and faith
that will bring color back to the soul.

(freedom) tell the others.
