Halloween Night (part 5)

It was my son's turn
To go where they went
I couldn't wait
To see the
Look on his face
When the man
Talks from
Beneath the pumpkin.

My son went
Up to the steps
In the chair
The man sat
With a bowl
Full of candy
Sitting in his lap.

The wife dressed
As a witch
Said
"Go ahead."

My four year old
Reached for the bowl
When the next
Thing I knew
He screamed
At the top
Of his lungs.

I laughed my a$$ off
He jumped
Out of his sneakers.

He wasn't scared
As he laughed
Out loud too.
