Child's Play
Summer was
here and gone
but life does
go on.
watching the kids
running for the
door to go outside
this is going
to be a wild ride.
chasing eachother
around the yard
I have to make
sure I keep
up my guard.
To the swing set
I watch you go
swinging wildly
to and fro.
Red light
green light
that's a fun game
I'll show you
how to play it
but don't fight.
Get out the
water guns
squirt, squirt
time for some
sandwiches and juice.
If you drink
too much
it will
make you burp.
