The One I Turn To - Inspirational Writings & Poetry of Julie Pisacane
Untouchable Palette
Untouchable Palette
A canvas of sweet pleasures meet the eye
when viewing the changes of a dazzling sky
Golden sunset has begun turning down,
on a cold mountain lake that used to look brown.
With colors reflecting the Autumn sky
the water is painted with gold from up high.
Surrounded by firs and thick forests of pine,
An intoxicating effect without sipping sweet wine.
The sun slowly sinking , colors mixing on the lake
This was truly Gods creation, something only He could make.
Indeed we are fortunate to be given this chance
to appreciate Fall's colors, if just for a glance .
Shortly, snow will fall in the woods nearby.
Flocks of birds and geese are ready to fly.
They start a trip to greet lands with warm sun.
Other creatures dig holes or start a long run.
A gleaming stretch of white will gloriously surround
a wonderland imagery draped on trees and the ground.
God will supremely create an irrestible Spring
where greens will emerge and His birds will sing.
I sit back and marvel at all that He does
From mountain sweet air to the bees that go buzz.
Seasons, fruits and swift leaping gazelle
When will it all end ...God's time will tell.
