Paying the Price

We find ourselves in a world full of sin,
It's mind boggling with the shape we're in;
We're breaking every one of God's laws,
Which just shows you we're full of flaws;
We so many that lie and steal and cheat,
Our world is abundantly filled with deceit;
Even those of the cloth have bent the rules,
Sinful lifestyles making us look like fools;
Why doesn't God come and show His wrath,
Since many have gone down the wrong path;
Then show everyone His awesome power,
It seems like we're past the eleventh hour;
God could cause a gigantic global quake,
Causing every major city to really shake;
Or maybe a gigantic fireball from the sky,
Making everyone and everything go awry;
Actually maybe time for another great flood,
On second thought it has been paid in blood;
God so loved the world giving His only son,
Whoever accepts Him eternal life is won.
