Telephone

You sound your call deep in the night
And I must admit you give me a fright
I can't help but wonder...
Is there anything wrong?
When I hear you blare your intrusive song

Sometimes I wish that I wasn't home
Then you wouldn't ring....
You'd leave me alone
Still sometimes I'm glad that I am here
Because you bring me closer to ones I hold dear

Telephone why are you such a complicated thing?
It's pick and choose....the people you bring
But I'll tell you now, please don't feel neglected
If you keep ringing at night....
YOU'LL BE DISCONNECTED
